For our second week of summer camp we introduced our young artists to drawing, coloring, designing and building with clay. Imagine the possibilities!
Two and three-dimensional projects incorporated techniques ranging from hand building a pot, painting, paper-maché and learning to sculpt with found objects. For these art projects we used both recycled and fine art materials to create unique and memorable works of art.
These are out finished beautiful pots! Aren't they lovely!
For our first week of camp we kicked off the summer with some creative woodworking classes. The students used wood pieces, small hammers, glue and more to learn how to create things with these elements.
The result was beautiful and unique pieces of art! They created wood wall hangings with summery flowers painted on the the wood all made from scratch! Our carpentry classes were a huge success. Fun was had by everyone, even the teachers!
