All of the MSV Community was having a great time at Maginni's Farm in Pleasant Hill.
We truly appreciate Mr. Manginni for keeping The Pumpin Patch Tradition closer to the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek Schools.
Our MSV students got a pumpkin and painted it and decorated it after the field trip!
Enjoy the pics!
One of the ways we help new students and parents adjust at My Spanish Village is by having a fun, interactive storytelling hour where we read books in Spanish and have the students participate in the story. Parents are welcome to come and watch their kids perform as characters from the book and hear how well their kids are learning Spanish.
Watch our storytelling time in this video about a mama bear that has very sick cubs and calls the doctor for a visit.
Our afternoon cooking classes have begun and are such a great way for kids to learn Spanish while having a lot of fun! In this class, we made cilantro hummus with pita bread. A nice healthy snack for our students.
But the kids really enjoyed the chocolate covered cheerios! Both a healthy and sweet treat for our MSV students. Our cooking classes are avilable throughout the year with limited space available. If you are interested in signing your child up please contact us as soon as possible to secure your spot!
We are thrilled to add a new afternoon class at My Spanish Village! Now kids can join us on Thursdays from 3:30pm - 4:45pm for our Teddy Bear Sewing Class. Students are able to actually make a teddy bear by sewing pieces together and also create a wardrobe for their bear with clothes student sew together. Our first class was a huge hit and we hope to see you there soon. Check the schedule for details.
To wrap up our wonderful 2014 - 2015 school year, we put together some really fun performances for our annual Graduation Show. The show was filled with bright lights, major talent and happy kids! Bravo to our students! They all danced and sang amazingly!
